I am thrilled to introduce my latest graphic novel, "A Tese de Margot". A story about the inspiring journey of Margot Sponer, a German philologist who in 1926 travels to Spain to study the Galician language. As Margot immerses herself in the vibrant local culture and forms friendships with key literature figures of the Nós Generation, her groundbreaking doctoral thesis establishes her as a pioneer in Galician language. Margot navigates the rich cultural landscape of Galicia while facing the challenges posed by the rise of Nazism in Germany.

This comic holds a special place in my heart, as Margot represents a remarkable woman whose courage and dedication deserve to be celebrated. I am proud to be the artist behind this project, responsible for the drawing, colouring, and lettering, while journalist Oscar Losada serves as the writer and editor. Together, we have crafted a comic that not only highlights Margot's achievements but also seeks to reclaim her legacy as an exceptional researcher, especially in light of the efforts by the Nazi regime to erase her memory.
I am also excited to share that this comic has been selected for the British Comic Now 2025 Catalogue!
